A quarter of a million dollars worth...The National Front destroys a Russian camera in Lattakia countryside
The "National Liberation Front" confirmed the destruction of a military point of the regime forces, on the axis of Jabal al-Turkman in the countryside of Lattakia, northwest Syria.
The front said in a statement issued yesterday, Saturday, that the target point is equipped with an advanced Russian thermal camera, worth a quarter of a million dollars. She added that the thermal camera is of the type "PTP 460M" and is considered one of the most important thermal cameras that the Russian forces rely on, and places it in important and dangerous axes to monitor and target all movements.
She pointed out that the cost of the camera is more than $220,000, and it can work in all harsh weather conditions, as it can withstand temperatures from minus 50 to 60 degrees Celsius.
The National Front noted that it contains a highly efficient day and night thermal camera, which works in all conditions and under the influence of smoke, fog and darkness.
The Front pointed out that the camera can detect the movement of people at a distance of 10 km, and detect the movement of mechanisms and vehicles at a distance of 20 km, and can also be linked directly with tanks and laser guns to be tracked and thrown.
It is noteworthy that the factions announced yesterday that they had targeted, with an anti-armor missile, a military barricade of the Assad militia, equipped with a thermal camera, on the Kils axis in the Turkmen Mountains, north of Latakia, which led to its complete destruction.
