According to local sources, the Russian warplanes have intensified their flights, over the areas that were targeted during the past week in the city of Al-Mayadin and its surroundings by the international coalition aircraft, and over the missile launchers that were targeted between “Al-Shibli” farms and “Al-Rahba” castle, south of the city of Al-Mayadin. .

The sources indicated that the two planes were carrying Russian officers who met with leaders of the Iranian militias in the "Al-Shibli" farms area, after the helicopters landed for about two hours in the area, and then the two planes left towards Deir ez-Zor military airport.

It is worth noting that the US administration had stated earlier, after the strikes that targeted the Iranian militias, that the strikes took place in coordination with Russia and were informed before the strikes were carried out of the places they would target in Deir ez-Zor.
