A former leader of the Islamic State was killed by the bombing of a coalition drone

Local sources revealed that the former leader of the "ISIS" organization, "Assistant Khalawi Hassan al-Aweera", nicknamed "Abu Bakr al-Takihi", was killed in bombing by a drone of the International Coalition in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, at dawn on Friday, September 2nd.

According to the "Ain al-Furat" website, "Al-Tuhayki" is one of the leaders of the former "Al-Hisbah" organization of the "Islamic State" organization, as a result of the bombing of a drone while he was trying to flee as a result of an airdrop carried out by the International Coalition forces on his house on the outskirts of the village of "Al-Tukihi".

He explained that forces belonging to the international coalition landed on the ground, amid light resistance, followed by the escape of "Al-Tokaihi" before he was killed by a strike by a drone belonging to the international coalition, and then the international coalition forces withdrew after that.

It is worth noting that the international coalition has carried out a series of landing operations in the eastern and northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor during the last period, with the aim of pursuing ISIS cells.
