Fatemiyoun militia looting civilian homes in Al- Rusafa desert

On Sunday, Afghan Revolutionary Guards’ Fatemiyoun Brigade stole the homes of civilians whose owners were displaced, in Al-Rusafa desert, which is under the control of the regime forces, south ofAl- Raqqa.

According to the local "Ain al-Furat" network, the militia stormed the homes of the displaced, under the pretext of searching them and searching for ISIS cells.

The network quoted a military source as saying that about 30 cars headed from Al-Rusafa desert towards the cities and towns of the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa, and some towards the western countryside of Deir Ezzor towards militia warehouses there.

It pointed out that the elements stole all the contents of the houses, including electrical appliances, Arab boards, wooden furniture, bedrooms, antiques and decorations.

It added that the theft operation aims to distribute household furniture to the families of the members on the one hand, and to place part of it in military points and headquarters spread from the western countryside of Deir Ezzor to the eastern countryside of Raqqa on the other hand.

It is noteworthy that most of the families of Al-Rusafa area have been displaced, since the beginning of last October, as a result of attacks launched by unknown persons believed to be cells of the “Islamic State” organization “ISIS” on the area, which led to the flight of the people and the strengthening of the Iranian militias’ presence.
