SDF imposes restrictions on drug trade in northeastern Syria
The Autonomous Administration in northeastern Syria has issued a new executive circular, to restrict the movement of drug and drug smugglers and the geographical scope of their work in their areas of influence from northeastern Syria.
The administration's circular on its official Facebook page, on Monday, September 19, indicates that the transportation of human medicines between cities is prohibited, except with the official approval of the "autonomous health authority".
The circular canceled previous administrative approvals and required traders to issue new legal documents before next October for those who wish to continue their work in drug trafficking.
The circular indicates the confiscation of any human or pharmaceutical drugs not mentioned in the licenses issued by the health authority.
The Autonomous Administration gave the merchants a period of about ten days to issue new work licenses, according to the circular that will be implemented at the beginning of next month.
It is noteworthy that the "Self-Government" administration issued a circular prohibiting the teaching of curricula in schools affiliated with the "Syrian regime", in addition to decisions issued in recent months, such as imposing taxes on professions.
