SDF launches a campaign of arrests north of Raqqa
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched a campaign of arresting civilians and soldiers in the "Ain Issa" area in the northern Raqqa governorate, accusing them of cooperating with Turkey.
According to local sources, the "SDF" arrested dozens of military and civilians against the backdrop of the recent air raids by Turkish drones on the Ain Issa area in the northern countryside of Raqqa, which resulted in the killing of 5 members of the SDF.
The sources added that "SDF forces arrested 35 of their members, 21 civilians and 2 members of the regime forces in the 93rd Brigade in Ain Issa."
And she continued: It began interrogating them about the Turkish air targets to find out those involved in the Turkish intelligence, and who sends the coordinates of the SDF's locations and movements to the Turkish side in order to attack them.
Last month, the US-backed "SDF" forces launched large-scale arrest campaigns against young men with the aim of forcing them to enlist in compulsory recruitment camps in all areas under their control in the governorates of Hasaka, Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa.
