SDF demands the people in the town of Al-Shanan in Deir Ezzor to hand over weapons and a number of houses
The Syrian Democratic Forces, "SDF", raided the town of "Al-Shanan" in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and demanded the people to hand over a specific number of weapons and many houses, which angered the people.
According to the "Euphrates Call" website, the leader of the SDF militia, "Ahmed Obaid", demanded the residents of the town of Shannan to hand over 20 Kalashnikovs, in addition to 20 houses in the town to turn them into military headquarters and points for its forces.
The source indicated that the leader demanded to hold a meeting of the notables of the region with leaders of the SDF in order to implement the demands, the matter was categorically rejected by the people.
The source added that the leader, "Ankel", refused to support the SDF's military force, which stormed the town of "Al-Shanan" on the pretext that it was one of the most prominent areas that had a history in the "ISIS" war.
The source confirmed that the civilian "Mustafa Ali Al-Saleh" was shot by the leader Ahmed Al-Obeid, which led to the clash of the injured's family with the raiding force of the town, forcing the town's notables to intervene to end the clashes.
It is noteworthy that the leader, Ahmed Al-Obeid Al-Najis, carried out these actions and raids because of an old revenge, in which one of the sons of Najm Al-Abdullah Al-Najis, a relative of the leader, was killed in 2011.
