Two people drowned in the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor
Local sources reported that two young men from Deir ez-Zor governorate, "Subhi Al-Muhammad Al-Shaker" and "Hamad Al-Hamad Al-Faraj Al-Jakhkhakh" drowned yesterday, Monday, while swimming in the Euphrates River, in the town of Al-Kashkiyah, east of Deir ez-Zor governorate.
Earlier, four people drowned in the Euphrates River in the countryside of Raqqa, they are the child "Abdul Aziz Al-Safadi 12 years old", "Muqbil Omar Al-Rashad", "Harith Khalil Ibrahim Al-Alush" and "Anwar Hassan", and the two young men Youssef Hamad and Ahmed Muhammad Al-Saleh Al-Badawi.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the summer, and due to the high temperatures, most of the residents of Deir ez-Zor governorate are heading to the banks of the Euphrates River to swim in the river, while twenty cases of drowning have been recorded in the Euphrates since the beginning of this summer, including young men, women and children.
