Today, Tuesday, the towns and villages of the southern countryside of Idlib, northwest of Syria, were subjected to intense artillery shelling by the regime forces and the militias supporting them, which led to casualties among civilians.

Qasioun TV reporter said that the 26-year-old woman, "Roaa Al-Ibrahim", was seriously injured, by artillery shelling by the regime forces, targeting the town of Shanan near the city of Ariha in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Our correspondent pointed out that the bombing also targeted the outskirts of the villages of (Al-Bara, Al-Fatirah and Horsh Benin), without causing any casualties, while leaving extensive material damage to private and public properties.

The reporter added that the artillery shelling coincided with intense flight of Russian reconnaissance planes and warplanes over the area.

It is noteworthy that, in recent months, the regime and Russian forces intensified their ground and air bombardments on the areas of northwest Syria, ignoring the truce and de-escalation agreements that were signed.
