With bombs... an attempt to assassinate a leader in an Iraqi militia in Deir Ezzor countryside

A commander in the Iraqi militias affiliated with Iran was subjected to a failed assassination attempt last night, Sunday 4 September, while he was in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to the "Ain al-Furat" website, the leader "Abu Rama", who works in the Iraqi "Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq" militia, presented an assassination attempt, after unknown persons riding a motorcycle threw two bombs at one of the militia's headquarters in the village of "Al-Hari" on the border with Iraq, while he was on his way. At the headquarters that was attacked.

He explained that the attempt was unsuccessful, and that the Iranian militia mobilized its members and forces following the incident, and formed flying checkpoints at the entrances to the village of "Al-Hari", stressing that the people of the village heard the sounds of explosions during the attack, and that the attackers managed to escape without knowing their identity or affiliation.

It is worth noting that the leader of the targeted "Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq" militia, called "Abu Rama", was also subjected to a failed assassination attempt last month, as he is known to have committed many violations against the people and his bad treatment of the people of the area, in addition to seizing a number of properties and homes and refusing to return them to owners.
