The Assad regime seeks help from Russia to pressure Turkey to re-pump water to Hasaka and its countryside

Media sources loyal to the Assad regime revealed that a meeting was held between the governor of al-Hasakah and a Russian general holding the position of commander of the Russian forces in al-Hasakah governorate, at the governorate building in the city, on Sunday, September 4th.

She indicated that during the meeting, the Turkish side discussed cutting the drinking water coming from the "Allouk station" from the city of Hasaka and its western countryside, according to its claim.

She added that this meeting comes within the framework of the ongoing meetings between Assad regime officials in Al-Hasakah Governorate and the Russian side, and that the Russian general stressed that Russia will make all possible efforts to pressure Turkey to prevent sabotage or cut off the water supply line coming from the Allouk station to the city of Al-Hasakah through the tanks of the "Station Station". Al-Hamma, near the city.

The general added that Russia will seek to allow the workers of the Water Corporation to reach the Allouk wells station to carry out the necessary maintenance for the station and to continuously pump water to the city of Al-Hasakah.
