SDF intensifies its recruitment campaigns in its areas of control

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces launched a large-scale forced conscription campaign in the city of Al-Hasakah and its countryside, northeastern Syria.

And local media sources said: "Since the beginning of this month, SDF launched a campaign to forcibly recruit young people between the ages of 18 and 24 years in and around the city of Hasaka."

She added: "Joint checkpoints and patrols in the cities of Qamishli and Hasaka and its countryside, the terms of the current campaign will be implemented for a period of 15 days with those wanted for compulsory service.

And she added: As of Thursday morning, more than 95 young people have been transferred to collection centers in the city of Qamishli and Ghweran district in Hasaka.

During the past week, SDF raided areas in Al-Hasakah, Al-Raqqa and the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and arrested dozens of young men for joining them.

In April of last year, the "Self-Government" set the age for entry into the "emergency service" in the "Syrian Democratic Forces" from January 1, 1998 to April 31, 2004.
