SNHR documents the death of a child and the injury of another in an explosion in northern Daraa governorate

On Friday, September 2, the Syrian Network for Human Rights documented the death of the child “Haitham Khaled Al-Omar”, and his brother was injured as a result of the explosion of an ammunition remnant of the bombing, the network was unable to determine its source and type, while they were on agricultural land near the 15th Brigade of the regime forces In the city of Ankhil.

According to the network's report, the killed child was 12 years old and hailed from the city of "Inkhil" in the northern countryside of Daraa, and that the area is under the control of the regime forces, explaining that they are still trying to reach more details about the incident.

The network indicated that unexploded ordnance remnants still pose a real threat to civilians, and it has issued a large number of reports on the danger of cluster munitions and weapon remnants, and called for the provision of specialized equipment; To assist the locals and residents in removing the various types of unexploded ordnance.
