The Iranian Revolutionary Guard seizes a number of homes of the displaced in the town of Deir Ezzor countryside

Media sources revealed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps had seized a number of houses in the town of "Hatla" in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and converted them to its headquarters, as part of its plan to replace the old headquarters after the American strikes.

According to local sources, the Iranian militias have recently seized more than 5 houses belonging to civilians living outside the areas controlled by the Assad regime and Iranian militias.

The sources pointed out that the confiscation and seizure of homes by the Revolutionary Guards are carried out by local leaders and elements working in the ranks of the militia, by reporting the homes whose owners have traveled outside Syria, to the areas controlled by the "SDF" militia, or to the liberated north.

She added that the so-called "Nuri Hassan al-Balat", nicknamed "Abu Aqil", is considered one of the most prominent figures, who supervises the operations of confiscation and seizure of homes, and he has handed over dozens of homes to the Iranian militias.

It is worth noting that the Iranian militias have seized a large number of real estate and land in the town of "Hatla" in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, since the Iranian militias entered the area in 2017, some of which were converted into military headquarters for the militias, and others were converted into centers for the dissemination of Shiite thought.
