Recently taken pictures of the city of Aleppo revealed the accumulation of garbage, waste and dirt in most of the southern and eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, especially the "Al-Sukari" and "Jourat Al-Ansari" neighborhoods.

According to local sources, the quantities of waste are increasing on a daily basis in the city’s neighborhoods, due to the delay in its removal by the city’s municipality for long periods, sometimes extending to weeks, while it has not been completely removed in some streets for nearly a year.

He added that, according to the official of the Cleaning Division, what prevents the municipality from carrying out its tasks and duties, is the reduction of the municipality’s fuel allocations by the regime’s government, and therefore the municipality’s mechanisms cannot collect garbage and complete its rounds.

The site indicated that pictures of garbage containers in those neighborhoods show that they are full of waste, and garbage bags are scattered around and outside, and some animals and birds that feed on them gather, and within meters of these wastes, there are vendors selling vegetables and fruits, indifferent to the health damage caused by these wastes.

It is worth noting that the people and residents of the aforementioned neighborhoods are suffering from chest diseases due to the unpleasant odors emanating from these wastes, and they have no way to treat the matter, except burning these wastes at night to reduce the quantity and reduce the damage caused by it.
