SDF sentences 8 people, including women, to death for espionage

Identical media sources reported that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) intended to execute 8 people, including women, after several charges were brought against them, most notably collaborating with Turkey and transmitting security information.

According to the sources, the military court of the "SDF" militia issued a death sentence against 8 people, including two women, on Tuesday 30 August, on charges of dealing with Turkish intelligence in areas controlled by the SDF.

Earlier, the SDF launched a campaign of arrests in the cities and towns of Manbij, Qamishli, Al-Shaddadi, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, Ain Al-Arab, and Al-Hasakah.

It is worth noting that civilians living in areas under the control of the SDF suffer from many violations committed by the SDF, as these violations include killing, kidnapping, theft, arbitrary arrest, and forced recruitment of young men.
