Yesterday, Wednesday, August 31, a young man of the same age was killed during the funeral of a girl he loved, as the girl killed herself for the same young man, in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to local sources, the deceased young man, in his twenties, shot himself during the passage of the body of the girl he wanted to marry, but the girl's family refused the young man, and forced her to marry another person, which prompted the girl to commit suicide.

The source explained that the incident took place in the town of "Al-Jardhi" in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, when the girl's coffin passed through the town.

It is worth noting that this incident, which took place in the town of "Al-Jardhi" in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, is one of the rare incidents that occur in Deir ez-Zor governorate.
