And the Athar Press website, quoting the president of Al-Baath University, "Abdul Baset Al-Khatib", calculates that everything that was published regarding the College of Arts and Humanities, that the person in the video clip circulating on social media, is incorrect and that this person is not Dr. "Nizar Abshi", Dean of the College of Arts. and Human Sciences at Al-Baath University.

Al-Khatib added that the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Nizar Abshi, has a good reputation and good morals.

Al-Khatib did not refute the video or claim that the place where the clip was recorded is not at Al-Baath University, as other video recordings and websites have previously circulated other video recordings showing similar cases of financial and sexual extortion of students in the Assad regime-controlled areas.

It is worth noting that the pioneers of social networking sites circulated the immoral video, during the past two days, which angered the Syrians, without any clarification from the university or the officials of the Assad regime before the statement of the university president today.
