Hezbollah militia consolidates its influence in Mahin warehouses east of Homs

The Lebanese "Hezbollah" militia sent new military reinforcements yesterday morning, Wednesday, August 31, to the military depots of the town of "Mahin" in the eastern countryside of Homs, and the reinforcements coincided with the mobilization of militia members on the roads leading to the area.

According to local sources, the reinforcements brought in by the Hezbollah militia were launched from the city of "Al-Qusayr" on the Lebanese border, and included 5 troop-carrying vehicles, three armored cars and a number of four-wheel drive vehicles.

He explained that the new reinforcements were stationed in Mahin warehouses in the "third warehouse", which is taken as a main headquarters by the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, in addition to being a storehouse for weapons, missiles and various ammunition.

The militia had earlier sent military experts to the town of Mahin and its warehouses, with the aim of developing and modifying locally made short and medium-range missiles, a number of which were launched in the Syrian desert to test their performance and effectiveness in mid-July.

It is worth noting that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps seized a number of warehouses within the arms depots of the town of "Mahin", after the withdrawal of Russian forces from it during the first half of this year, as the eastern countryside of Homs becomes completely subject to Iranian influence.
