An explosion causes losses to the ranks of the Syrian regime forces in Raqqa

A number of members of the regime forces were killed yesterday, Saturday, August 27, when an explosive device exploded in their car in the Raqqa desert.

According to local sources, an explosive device planted by members of ISIS cells exploded in a military vehicle belonging to the Non-Aligned Movement, near the Ramle camp, south of Raqqa, killing two members and wounding others.

Local residents confirmed that "military vehicles belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces and Asayish were seen moving quickly in the streets of Tabqa city towards the northern neighborhoods near the Euphrates Dam, which is the headquarters of the Heavy Weapons Brigade."

On the 20th of this month, ISIS cells attacked a military unit of the regime forces on the road between the Rusafa area and the Tabqa military airport, killing two members and wounding others.

It should be noted that on June 20, the pro-regime SANA news agency said that 11 soldiers and two civilians were killed and others wounded as a result of an explosion targeting a bus in Raqqa.
