The General Directorate of Ports of the Syrian regime announced today, Sunday, closure all seaports to navigation and fishing due to the prevailing weather conditions.

In a statement to the regime, the Director General of Ports, Samer Kobrusly, revealed that all seaports in the coastal region will be closed to navigation and fishing, from Sunday noon until further notice.

Kobrusly indicated that the decision came as a result of the prevailing weather conditions, including increased wind speed, high waves and low visibility.
