Mazloum Abdi reveals that he received an offer from the Syrian regime

The commander of "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, revealed that he had received an offer from the Syrian regime, granting "SDF" independence to administer the Kurdish areas in northeastern Syria, provided that they withdraw from the Arab areas and hand them over to the regime.

During a meeting with the dignitaries of the clans of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside at the base of the international coalition in "Al-Omar" field, Abdi confirmed "SDF" rejected this proposal submitted by the regime earlier.

He added that the regime is "the old enemy, which is still plotting against SDF and its popular incubator," according to what was reported by "Syria TV" website.

On the settlement processes that the regime is conducting west of the Euphrates River, Abdi explained that SDF refuses reconciliation with the regime because it seeks to circumvent independence and democracy.

It pointed out that the people in those areas do not recognize the regime or negotiate with it, except on a basic condition: recognition of the "Self-Administration" and "SDF," as he put it. According to Al Sharq website, Abdi promised Syria to solve the fuel and bread crises, the lack of job opportunities, the poor service, health and educational reality, and the fight against corruption in the areas under the control of SDF in Deir Ezzor.
