The Interim Government inaugurates Abdullah Zain al-Abidin Mosque in Afrin countryside

The Syrian Interim Government announced opening of Abdullah Zain al-Abidin Mosque in Bakhja town in Afrin countryside, north of Aleppo.

The Interim Government noted that the opening of the mosque took place with the participation of the Minister of Finance and Economy, the President of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Syrian Islamic Council, the Turkish Religious Endowment, Bulbul Endowment, the Sharia Council in Aleppo Governorate, the Syrian Scholars Association, police and security leaders in Bulbul, and representatives of a youth group Turkmen of Syria, and soldiers and civilians from the resident of the village.

For his part, the head of the Endowment and Religious Affairs Authority said: “The mosques are the homes of God Almighty, and they are the most beloved places to Him, glory be to Him. Therefore, Islam urged building mosques, and the Sunnah of the Prophet included hadiths on the reward for building mosques and taking care of them.

It is noteworthy that opening Abdullah Zain al-Abidin Mosque comes a month after the opening of Muhammad Bahaa al-Din Olabi mosque in Bulbul, Abla village, in the countryside of Afrin.

The Syrian Interim Government, under the direction of the Prime Minister, continues to build mosques in cities, towns, and villages.
