The defection of members of the National Defense Militia towards SDF areas
The regime forces carried out a raid campaign in search of five members of the National Defense and headed to the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces “SDF” in the countryside of Al-Raqqa.
"Ain Al-Furat" network reported that the Fourth Division launched a campaign of raids on Maadan countryside villages, east of Al- Raqqa, in search of five elements who defected from the Russian-backed National Defense.
The network added that the raids on civilian homes ended with the arrest of the relatives of the dissidents to pressure them to surrender after they entered SDF areas.
It is noteworthy that the areas of the regime forces in eastern Syria are witnessing many defections from its forces or the militias supporting it due to the large number of attacks that affect it in the desert, by land and by air via drones.
