Protests against SDF in Al-Hasaka countryside due to poor living conditions

Yesterday, Tuesday, Al-Hasaka countryside witnessed dozens of angry protests because of poor service and living conditions in the region, denouncing the policies of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” and their continuous violations against the people.

Local media reported that the residents of Atshana villages blocked yesterday Al-Malikiyah -Al- Qamishli road in the northeastern countryside of Al-Hasakah, in front of SDF patrols and employees of “Autonomous Administration.”

The sources indicated that the people blocked the road and set rubber tires on the aforementioned road, in protest against the deteriorating service and living conditions of the residents in the area.

The popular protests came after a complete power outage for 6 consecutive days, in addition to the long-term interruption of drinking water.

The protesters demanded an improvement in the service and living conditions in the region, and an end to the region's marginalization by the "Self-Administration", according to Ain Al-Furat Network.

The angry protests also demanded an end to the forced recruitment campaigns, given that many of the protesters are the breadwinners of their families in this difficult situation in the region.

It is noteworthy that the areas controlled by SDF militia have witnessed popular protests during the last months, against the deterioration of the living and service reality and the continuation of the de facto authority to commit violations.
