Today, Wednesday, local sources reported that a fire broke out in a house in Deir Ezzor countryside, which caused death a media activist.

According to the sources, the journalist "Abdullah Al-Ajeel" died as a result of a fire that broke out in his house in Al-Hussan village, west of Deir Ezzor, due to a diesel heater.

They indicated that "Al-Ajeel" tried to put out the fire inside the house, but the fire reached the furniture of the house and burned it, which led to his death directly.

It is noteworthy that fire incidents are frequent in eastern and northern Syria, and often lead to civilian casualties.
