Because of a dispute over a drug shipment...Hezbollah arrests members of the National Defense

Yesterday, Sunday, the Iranian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah militia raided Al-Furqalus town, which is under the control of the Syrian regime and Iranian militias in the eastern Homs countryside, in search of wanted members of the National Defense Militia.

According to "Ain al-Furat" network, 40 members of Lebanese Hezbollah militia, in coordination with the regime's military security, raided the village and arrested two members of the National Defense.

The network quoted a private source as saying that the militia drove the detainees towards Al-Qusayr area in southern Homs countryside, with the possibility of transferring them to the militia headquarters in Qara city in Damascus countryside.

It pointed out that the arrest of the elements came against the background of a dispute between the two parties over a shipment of "drugs" coming from Iraq through Al-Bukamal city to Palmyra city, where the shipment arrived in a quantity less than what was agreed upon, and the finger of accusation was pointed at the person responsible for transporting it, the two elements belonging to the National Defense Militia.

It is noteworthy that the security interventions of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the countryside and Homs city have increased in an unprecedented manner, without any comment from the regime forces, which claim national sovereignty in their areas of control.
