The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the regime's government, Amr Salem, revealed that the sale of bread will start in shops affiliated with the ministry in some neighborhoods of Damascus, starting next week.

Salem said in a post on his Facebook page that "the Ministry of Internal Trade will start cooling bread next week in bakeries before packing it, then transporting it in specialized cars, and selling it in grocery stores and kiosks affiliated with the ministry."

He added that "the beginning will be in the areas of Al-Duwayla, Al-Mazzeh, Sheikh Saad, and Al-Sobki Park kiosk, and at the same price among the accredited ones," noting that "the application of this method will continue until covering all the neighborhoods Damascus city, and then it will be circulated to all governorates."
