Yesterday, Monday, a number of members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were injured in clashes by a group of smugglers in Deir Ezzor countryside

According to local media, SDF confiscated a load of diesel barrels intended for smuggling from its areas of control to the regime-controlled areas in Al-Ma’ishiya village, northwest of Deir Ezzor.

The sources added that clashes erupted between SDF and the smugglers, as a result of which four SDF members were seriously injured.

It is noteworthy that a recurring conflict leads to clashes between the regime and its militias on the one hand, and SDF militia on the other, aiming to control the smuggling crossings.
