The Syrian Civil Defense teams announced the destruction of a mortar shell from the remnants of the bombing of the regime forces in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Civil Defense said: Its UXO teams are working to reduce the danger of unexploded ordnance, as they destroyed today, Tuesday, an unexploded mortar shell that was inside the health center of Marata town in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.

The Civil Defense indicated that the shell was pulled out of the center using a hook and thread technique.

It confirmed the presence of unexploded remnants of war in many cities and towns in the southern countryside of Idlib, calling on civilians not to approach suspicious objects or unexploded remnants of war, and to inform the Syrian Civil Defense teams about them immediately.

It is noteworthy that the explosions of remnants of war resulting from the bombing of the regime forces and Russia have left dozens of civilian casualties in northwestern Syria.
