The Medical Technical Institute of Idlib graduates a new batch of nurses

A group of young Syrian women came out from the Medical Technical Institute in Idlib Governorate, with certificates authorizing them to work in the field of nursing, at a time when the health sector is in need in northwestern Syria.

Yesterday, Monday, Anadolu Agency reported that 13 Syrian students received nursing certificates from Medical Technical Institute in Idlib.

The agency quoted the director of the institute, "Hasna Satouf," as saying that the nurses graduated from the institute, after two years of intensive training.

It added that graduates of the institute will be able to complete their education in universities in the region for a period of 4 years, and work in hospitals and health centers.

Sattouf added that the Medical Technical Institute was established by the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) in 2014, and was founded by Syrian doctors living in the United States.

It confirmed that 374 nurses have graduated from the Medical Technical Institute in Idlib, since its establishment until today.

It is noteworthy that the health sector is under great pressure in Idlib governorate, due to the continuous attacks by Russia and Al-Assad regime on hospitals and medical centers.
