Russian sources: Missile strikes target a US base in Syria
Local sources reported that, on Monday evening, the base of the US forces in Al-Omar oil field area in Deir Ezzor countryside, eastern Syria, was subjected to a missile attack.
And the Russian "Sputnik" news agency reported that a number of missile shells fell on the base where US forces are stationed in Al-Omar oil field, the largest of the Syrian oil fields.
Local sources in the vicinity of the base confirmed to "Sputnik" that 4 consecutive explosions were heard and columns of smoke rose in the vicinity of Al-Omar oil field, which is being used by the international coalition forces as an illegal base east of Deir Ezzor.
