Via cargo planes, a shipment of weapons and ammunition for the Revolutionary Guards arrives at Al-Qamishli Airport

Today, Sunday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia sent a shipment of weapons and ammunition to its locations in Al-Qamishli city, under the watchful eye of the Russian forces and the international coalition supervising the area.

"Ain al-Furat" network quoted an informed source as saying that two "Ilyushin" cargo planes arrived this morning at Al-Qamishli Airport, coming from Deir Ezzor Military Airport, carrying shipments of various weapons and ammunition.

The source added that the shipment amounted to about 90 tons of light and medium weapons and their ammunition, in addition to some fillings and mortars of 80 and 120 mm caliber, which were transferred from the airport to Tartab Regiment, which is under the joint control of the Revolutionary Guards, the Fourth Division and the National Defense.

He pointed out that today's shipment is the second of its kind, after a shipment arrived at the same airport in favor of the Revolutionary Guards on the sixth of last September, and it was estimated at the time at 55 tons carried by Russian-made Ilyushin planes.

It is noteworthy that the Revolutionary Guard is clearly seeking to penetrate the areas controlled by the Syrian regime in Al-Qamishli, which poses a grave danger to the international coalition forces present in the area generally under the control of SDF.
