Corona forces SDF to impose a curfew in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Civil Council of the "Self-Administration" announced yesterday, Saturday, the imposition of a curfew in the western countryside of the province for a period of one week.

In the circular, the council said that it had taken several decisions, including imposing a total curfew on "Al-Kibar and Al-Harmoushi" areas, west of Deir Ezzor, due to the increasing cases of Corona infection.

It added that the ban excludes shops selling foodstuffs, vegetables and meat, provided that they open their doors from six in the morning until three in the afternoon.

Hospitals, health centers, pharmacies, humanitarian organizations, bakeries and fuel stations are also excluded from the ban.

The Council called on citizens to adhere to the rules of health prevention, social distancing, and to wear a mask.

It is reported that local sources confirmed to the media that the hospitals in eastern Syria are completely unable to receive the injured, because there are no available beds for the patients.
