The Syrian Democratic Forces "SDF" announced the handing over of a number of ISIS detainees who are in its prisons to the Iraqi authorities.

SDF militia said in a press statement that it had handed over 100 Iraqi detainees from "ISIS" organization to the Iraqi authorities.

It added that the handover took place according to a work schedule that was prepared in advance between our forces and the Iraqi side during the last period to hand over ISIS elements wanted to the Iraqi judiciary.

It pointed out that the transfer process took place across the official Syrian-Iraqi border, where their access to a force of the Iraqi army was secured.

It is noteworthy that ISIS members present in Ghweran prison carried out a stubborn operation during transfers of prisoners by the international coalition warplanes.
