ISIS claims responsibility for attacks targeting SDF in Deir Ezzor

ISIS has recently claimed responsibility for carrying out a series of attacks targeting positions and checkpoints of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In a statement on its Telegram identifiers, the organization said that its members targeted the headquarters of a "SDF" commander in Al-Jardhi town , east of Deir Ezzor

He pointed out that, on Tuesday, it targeted two SDF checkpoints in Dhibian and Suwaidan towns , east of Deir Ezzor, with hand grenades and machine guns.

He added that the attacks also targeted sites on the bridge road in Darang area with machine guns, causing casualties among "SDF".

In addition, the organization claimed responsibility for targeting the SDF's military headquarters in al-Busayrah, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, which it said resulted injury a number of members and material damage to the headquarters.

Al-Busaira city, east of Deir Ezzor, witnessed an armed attack that lasted for several hours on Friday, and the Euphrates Post network said that unknown persons targeted with light weapons and rocket-propelled grenades the headquarters of the First Brigade and other headquarters on the outskirts of the city.

It added, according to the Syrian event, that the unknown persons spread intensively within the city's neighborhoods and began carrying out attacks on the headquarters of "SDF", holed up in the densely populated residential neighborhoods.
