Today, Thursday, the US forces announced that they had shot down a drone that entered the airspace of Al-Tanf base in southeastern Syria on Tuesday evening.

A spokesman for the US Central Command, Bill Urban, said that his country's forces detected two drones that entered the airspace of Al-Tanf, adding that "when one of the two drones continued its path deep into Al-Tanf area to resolve the conflict, we concluded that it showed a hostile intent and was shot down."

As for the second small drone, it left the area, and it wasn't clear whether the two drones carried explosives, according to the American NBC channel.

According to Syria TV, quoting the spokesman, there were no reports of injuries or damage to Al-Tanf base as a result of the accident.
