A child was killed and others injured in a mine explosion in Deir Ezzor

A child was killed and two others were injured, today, Friday, in a landmine explosion in the towns of eastern Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria.

And North-Press quoted a local source from Marat town, east of Deir Ezzor, that the 8-year-old child, Ahmed Al-Hafuz, lost his life.

Meanwhile, Salem and Ali Al-Jallad (7 and 9 years old) were injured in the explosion of a mine left behind by the “Islamic State” organization “ISIS” when they tried to play with it and extract copper from it.”

It indicated that the two children, Salem and Ali, were taken to Al-Madina Hospital in Deir Ezzor for treatment, and they are in a very critical condition as a result of shrapnel wounds, according to a doctor in the hospital.

It is noteworthy that the remnants of war spread widely in most of the Syrian regions, which leads to frequent deaths and injuries of civilians.
