Iranian militias seek to recruit women in Homs countryside

Media sources revealed that the Iranian-backed "Revolutionary Guard" militia began holding vocational training courses in order to attract women in its areas of control in central Syria, and to spread its own beliefs on Syrian society, taking advantage of the poverty that all Syrians suffer from.

Ain Al-Furat website said that the Revolutionary Guards militia launched vocational and training courses targeting widowed and divorced women in Palmyra, east of Homs, to increase its penetration into the lives of the people and spread its faith.

The courses include nursing and sewing for 6 months, paid for with a stipend for the trainees, and future contracts.

The courses are supervised by contracted women, including Iraqis, and 42 trained women were registered in the nursing course, while 25 female tailors were trained in sewing, at one of the headquarters of "Revolutionary Guard", according to the source.
