Heavy rains exacerbate the suffering of the camp residents in Idlib

 The heavy rains negatively affected the lives of thousands of displaced people and exacerbated their suffering in the camps in Idlib region, northwest Syria.

The heavy rains that fell throughout yesterday, Wednesday, damaged the tents and belongings of the displaced fleeing the attacks of Al-Assad regime. And Anadolu Agency quoted Khaled Masoud, a resident of Kafr Uruq camp, as saying: "His tent was damaged by the heavy rains, and it became unfit for shelter, In addition, the basic necessities of his family, including clothes and blankets, were damaged.

He explained that his tent was flooded, adding: "The situation of the children is very bad because of the rain, the roads are muddy and there are no services." In turn, Muhammad Hassan said that the rains flooded many tents and forced dozens of families to move to other camps.

 He indicated that they are facing very difficult times in the camp, calling for providing the affected and needy with food aid and fuel.

Hundreds of thousands of displaced people and displaced by the Syrian regime live in camps in Idlib and northern Syria, amid difficult living conditions.
