An employee in the Directorate of Education in the city of Qabasin, east of Aleppo, survived last Friday evening, from an assassination attempt carried out by unknown persons.

Qasioun's reporter said that the employee, "Ahmed Abdel Karim", director of the education directorate's warehouse in Qabasin, was seriously injured as a result of being shot by unknown assailants on Friday evening.

It added that the gunmen opened fire on "Abdul Karim", which led to him being shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital and is now in good health.

It is noteworthy that the police forces in Marea city, east of Aleppo, found, 10 days ago, the body of a murdered and handcuffed man in a house in the city.
