SDF seizes narcotic pills inside Al-Qatirji tanks

Today, Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) managed to seize a large amount of narcotic pills in a tank belonging to "Al-Qatirji" company, in eastern Syria.

"Ain al-Furat" network reported that SDF found 1,500 "Captagon" narcotic pills hidden in one of the tanks, while 125 tankers belonging to Husam al-Qaterji Company arrived with the aim of heading towards Al-Hasaka to supply crude oil.

The network indicated that the tanks gathered at the crossing yard, with the aim of being inspected by SDF forces, before allowing them to penetrate their areas of control and reach wells in the countryside of Al-Hasaka.

It added that the Public Security Service confiscated the tanker after finding the narcotic pills, arrested the driver and his assistant, and transferred them to the security center in Tabqa city, west of Al-Raqqa.

It stressed that "SDF" gathered the entire oil convoy at Safyan crossing yard, with the aim of re-inspecting it thoroughly again, and then allowing it to cross with a military escort that guarantees its access to the oil wells and return to the regime's areas without deviating from its path.

It is noteworthy that most of the drug shipments that are seized inside Syria or at border crossings with other countries, originate from areas of the regime and its militias.
