Tahrir al-Sham attacks journalists in Idlib province

Local sources reported that the security forces of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, on Thursday, assaulted a number of media professionals in Idlib governorate, because they were trying to film the aid convoy that entered for a day, coming from regime-controlled areas.

According to what the journalist Ghaith al-Sayed stated, in a post on Facebook, that in a slanderous manner, pushed from behind, and shouting by members of Al-Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.

The journalist added that the attack was carried out in an attempt to prevent the media from covering the entry of the convoy coming from the areas under the control of Al-Assad regime.

He continued, "Politely and respectfully, they could have asked us not to film and without abuse, a river, and an attempt to confiscate the phone and the camera, after they forced us to delete the filming."

For his part, the journalist Omar Haj Kaddour said: “At the time when elements attack you, crush you, push you, and deceive you.

It is noteworthy that a convoy of 14 trucks carrying UN aid entered Idlib today, Thursday, through Terniya crossing, near Saraqib, coming from the areas of the regime.
