The regime’s government forms a committee of ministerial assistants and defines its tasks

  The government of the Syrian regime decided to form a "media support" committee to "prepare public opinion before issuing decisions related to the living life of citizens."

Resolution No. (2007), the content of which was published by the loyal "Al-Mashhad" magazine, stipulates the formation of a media support committee headed by the Assistant Minister of Information for Media Development Affairs, and includes ministerial assistants in a number of ministries.

 The decision issued by the regime’s Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, set a number of tasks before the committee, including: Coordinating the overlapping information between the concerned ministries between the concerned ministries related to each decision to be issued, formulating its justifications for its issuance, determining the responsibility of each ministry when implementing it, and unifying the media and knowledge discourse directed to public opinion.

 - Supervising the media offices in the ministries, where the committee constitutes a primary source for news and statements issued by the relevant ministries so that they reach correctly and at the required time for public opinion.

 - Ensuring the flow of information to the concerned media offices and updating their websites. - Supervising the organization of periodic meetings between those concerned in their ministries and the media.

 Liaising and coordinating with the media outlets with regard to specialists and analysts, and responding to inquiries received by the media.
