A Russian soldier was injured in an explosion in Homs countryside
Local sources confirmed that a Russian soldier was injured yesterday, Wednesday, when an explosive device exploded targeting a Russian vehicle on Al-Shaer oil field road, east of Homs.
Watan FM website stated that the explosion occurred while Russian military vehicles were passing accompanied by vehicles of Al-Assad forces, in conjunction with the flight of Russian helicopters in the area.
The source indicated that the injured Russian member was transferred to Palmyra Military Hospital via a Russian military helicopter.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, 4 members of the Russian "Wagner" militia were injured as a result of an ambush by ISIS members on the road leading to Al-Kasaiba oil field in the southern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
