Local sources reported that pro-Iranian militias had their members in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, after the arrival of military reinforcements for the American forces and the preparation of training members of "SDF" on the bank of the Euphrates River opposite the Iranian presence.

"Ain al-Farra" network quoted a military source in Deir Ezzo, that the militia of the Afghan "Fatimiyoun" Brigade and the Iraqi "Harakat al-Nujaba", both of which are affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, raised their readiness in the vicinity of al-Tabani and al-Masrib towns, after the arrival of the American "Bradley" vehicles to the areas controlled by "SDF" forces east of the Euphrates.

The network added that the Iranian militias fear that they will be jointly targeted by the American forces and "SDF" forces, which led to them raising the readiness in all their headquarters east of the Euphrates.

It is noteworthy that the exercises supervised by the US Army in Abu Khashab desert, northwest of Deir Ezzor, aim to raise the combat capability of SDF forces in Deir Ezzor to confront all kinds of threats from ISIS cells and Iranian militias in the region alike.
