ISIS incurred a number of dead and wounded for pro-regime militias in Homs countryside
Local sources reported the killing and wounding of a number of members of the Palestinian "Liwa al-Quds" militia, following an attack by ISIS militants in the Syrian desert, east of Homs, in the second attack of its kind in about a week.
And the local Euphrates Post network reported that ISIS militants launched an attack on Sunday evening, targeting a group of members of the Palestinian “Al-Quds Brigade” militia in Jabal Al-Amour area in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The attack resulted in the death of a number of militia members, the injury of several others, and the destruction of a car.
ISIS elements also seized weapons that were in the possession of the militia members.
The network indicated, according to the opposition Radio Al-Kul, that no air or ground support had been received to support the militia members against the attack by the organization’s elements.
