Clashes caused by a quarrel in Hazano town, north of Idlib, on Monday, resulted in several civilian casualties.

Qasioun’s reporter quoted local sources as saying that the head of the local council in Hazano town was injured along with two people during the clashes taking place there.

He pointed out that a quarrel took place near Hazano roundabout in the town between displaced in East Hazano camp and residents of the town, and the presence of the head of the local council, who was involved in the clash.

He added that the security forces in Idlib surrounded the area, broke up the clashes, and detained a number of those who provoked the problem and caused the injuries.

The sources did not mention the reasons for the quarrel and then its development into clashes.

They said that the people's appeals were issued to the wise and dignitaries on both sides urging them to intervene to resolve the conflict and prevent bloodshed.
