Local sources confirmed that unidentified gunmen attacked, during the last hours, the positions of the Palestinian Al-Quds Brigade militia, in the eastern countryside of Homs, which resulted deaths and injuries.

The Palestinian militia mourned six of its members who were killed in an ambush carried out by unknown persons, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic State, while conducting a combing campaign in Abu Rajmin mountains, east of Homs.

For its part, "Ain Al-Furat" network said that the ambush targeted joint movements of Liwa al-Quds militia and al-Assad forces, on the outskirts of Jabal al-Amour, in the northwestern side of Palmyra.

She added that the attack resulted injury of ten other militants, with varying degrees , who were transferred to Palmyra Military Hospital, from which they were transferred to the capital, Damascus.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, the same militia described a number of its members, who were killed in the countryside of Homs and Deir Ezzor, as attacks by the Islamic State.
