The Minister of the Interior of the regime makes new statements about passports

The Minister of Interior in the government of the regime, Muhammad al-Rahmoun, claimed that the promise to solve the problem of issuing passports was delayed due to compelling technical reasons beyond the control of the ministry, after he had previously promised to solve the problem of the delay in issuing passports on 20 August last month.

Al-Rahmoun said that the problem was addressed, and he promised the citizens that the granting and renewal of passports would begin on October 10, and that he apologized to the citizens for the delay in the delivery of passports.

He added, in statements to the regime's TV, that the problem will end before the end of next October, and that there will be no such problem in the future, and things will return to their previous era and work with previous instructions regarding the granting and renewal of passports.

He said that urgent passports will be granted within 24 hours, and ordinary passports will be granted within ten days from the date of submission.
